St Mark’s Anglican Peace Memorial Church 100 year centennary
You are invited to St Mark’s Anglican Peace Memorial Church to celebrate 100 years since this iconic building was dedicated as a peace memorial by the Primate of New Zealand, Archbishop A W Averill on 24 October 1926.

The planned programme is as faollows –
Saturday 24 October 2026
10.30am – Gather in the hall for a welcome, morning tea and slide show. During the day the church will be open with some entertainment and a display of old photos and items of interest.
A registration fee of $10 is required to be paaid by 30 June 2026. Bank details are at the bottom of the paage. You will also need to advise your details to Liz Harrop by email ianandliz@xtra.co.nz or by phone on 021 299 1719 by way of confirmation or for further information. Details required are your name, phone number, email address and the number attending the dinner. There will be a further cost of $30 each for the dinner to be paid by 01 October 2026. If you have items you are willing to share, we would be happy to display them.
5.30pmEvening meal ($30per person)will be served followed by guest speaker Bishop Sir David Moxon.
Sunday 25 October 2026
10am – Sunday service with Bishop Philip Richardson in attendance. A light morning tea will follow the service.
