ECHO Walking Festival – Howarth Memorial Wetlands walk and talk

Three members of Te Aroha Fish and Game will guide this walk. With their combined knowledge they will tell us about the history of the site and the ongoing work to maintain and enhance it for all users – two legged, four-legged and winged! At the beginning of the walk everyone will be given a list of wildlife species with an identifying picture so they can try and find them on the walk. A list of tree’s will be given too which will be pointed out too. Lunch will be at the picnic tables where everyone will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Probably finishing around 1pm.
