Today’s walk is through attractive lowland forest dominated by tawa and rewarewa. Entering the forest, this track follows the gently undulating ridgeline to Otawa Trig.

Access is across private farmland via a formed vehicle track on the south side of

Te Puke Quarry Road. A small car park marks the entrance.

About four hours returning the same way.
