Kids are encouraged to enter (with not too much help from Dad) and they usually bring in an assortment of eels, rabbits, possums and deer. Profits donated to Te Aroha Hospital, Fire Brigade and St John Ambulance. It is held on the second weekend in May (Thu-Sat).
